Once again, we have entered another school year which comes with all the business of getting the children ready for school, taking our children to school events including sporting events, also, making sure our spouse is also taken care of, as well as attending church services, and many other things that are too many to mention. That is why we want to take this time to encourage you to do the following:
1. Use our Time Wisely
We have entered a season where we MUST use our time wisely. The enemy wants to use this season to keep us busy with things that have very little or no eternal significance at all. In doing so we become overwhelmed and remove ourselves from that place of rest in HIM!
2. Stay Connected to Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit must become our guide and strength during this season. As we engage in all the activities and responsibilities of life we will begin to feel weary and exhausted. Therefore, we must stay connected to Holy Spirit, our main source of strength.
3. Strike the Balance of Life.
The Lord showed me that many have either entered or will begin to enter what I call “the Martha season.” In Luke 10:38-42, we see the importance of finding a balance in life. During this season “balance” will be the key for many of His people.
The issue in this passage is not that Mary is better than Martha. The key in this passage is learning when “to do” and when “not to do” certain things, especially those things that have little or no eternal significance at all.
Our prayer is that we must learn how to use our time wisely, stay connected to Holy Spirit, and find the proper balance in life, especially during this season of business.
